"As the father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love." (Jn 15:9)
When Jesus was about to leave this earth, He called His disciples together and charged them to continue in His love. Love here is a passion, an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person. A deep or abiding liking for something. The kind of feeling or affection one has for himself or herself for others as demonstrated by Jesus called Agape love. When you display this kind of love, people see you as a friend of Jesus, a man of God.
This kind of love is not selfish, a situation where you show passion or interest in the welfare of the unlovable. The kind of goodness that does not discriminate or show partiality or wax cold. The love of a lot of people is waxing cold. Our love should not be based on giving gifts alone. Inclusive in love is Prayer of intercession for others, visitation to those other brethren we have not seen for a while, assistance granted to people in need and so on. "I want to tell us that, living is living for others." I pray that the Lord will make us His channels and vessels of love to others in the name of Jesus.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”

Love of God, overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.
Anyone who wants to use my kindness against me change your ways in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus create your love in the minds of our leaders in the name of Jesus.
Powers working against God's love of others for me subside in the name of Jesus.
