Today's Readings:
Genesis 12:1
Exodus 3:2
John 1:43
"The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, follow me". (John 1:43)

'Follow me 'This is a statement of Jesus to His intending disciples. It is an invitation, a command to service. God called Abraham out of his kindred to the service of God; Moses was called in the burning bush to deliver the people of Israel from the bondage they were facing in the land of Egypt.
Beloveth, the best invitation one can get is the one Jesus would make to one to perfect a relationship with Him and God. No wonder in John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the father, but by me." To follow Jesus is to be like Jesus in one’s character and behaviour. Anyone that follows Jesus will have victory over sin and the consequences therein, move in the power and strength of God, and overcome the evil activities of the world. To get an invitation to follow Jesus Christ, you need to examine your relationship with Him daily, live a holy and righteous life and be attentive before Him to receive His invitation and leading. I pray that His voice shall liberate us in the name of Jesus.
ABIODUN GEORGE
To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and meet the resident reverend, pastor or priest.
Prayer:
Pollution within and around my life disappear by fire in the name of Jesus.
Blood of Jesus, saturate my environment in the name of Jesus.
Oh God, arise and uphold me to the end in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, let us be in the right standing with you at all times in the name of Jesus
Oh God, arise and defend your interest in Christian homes in the name of Jesus.
