A glorious Sunday morning to you. God wants to lift you to the topmost part of grace today. He wants to fill you with the abundance of His presence. And He wants to restore to you the glory that is yours by virtue of your birth and baptism into Him, by which He claims you as His child, created in His image and likeness, His priceless work of art (Ephesians 2:10).
Today’s Gospel reading says it well as we see Jesus healing a deaf-mute. He touched the man’s ears and touched his tongue with spittle, looks up to heaven and declares, ‘Ephphatha’, that is, ‘Be opened.’ This is a fulfilment of the words of Isaiah: “He is coming to save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, the ears of the deaf unsealed, then the lame shall leap like a deer and the tongues of the dumb sing for joy.” (Isaiah 35:4-7).
Jesus’ healing was not only a sign for people to see and declare that He is the Messiah. It helped the man who received the healing become a missionary of the Gospel, telling everyone that Jesus has "done all things well". Jesus’ action brought the awareness that God is close to those who suffer. If there are challenging situations, if there are difficulties in your life, it is important that you do not lose faith and hope. The word of God which you are reading right now will be fulfilled in your life and God will save you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
God’s saving help is coming to you.
God’s healing is coming to you.
His blessings upon your life is coming to you.
His financial restoration is coming to you.
Job security is coming to you.
Peace and joy are coming to you.
His breakthrough in your business is coming to you.
His blessings over your family are coming to you.
He is lifting the curse of sin, addiction and death from your life.
He will restore you to full health and salvation in Jesus’ name.
I pray that as you attend the service today, as you hear God’s word and receive Jesus in the Eucharist, and as you continue to relate well with others, you will be the face of Jesus out there and be transformed. Live your life as it pleases God and He will definitely transform you for the best. Help someone who is underprivileged today. Create a space for people with speech or hearing impairment in the Church community. They too deserve to hear the word of God. As you do your part to include others into the atmosphere of God’s loving community, He will make your blessings permanent, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Have a blessed Sunday and enjoy God’s favour always.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud: “Father, I acknowledge my sin against you. I repent and ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of your Holy Spirit, take control of heart and lead me in your path of righteousness. Thank You Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident pastor or priest.
Prayer:
You shall share your testimony to God's blessings and healing in your life in Jesus' name. Amen.
