Today's Reading:
Haggai 1:6
"Ye have sown much, and bring in little, ye eat, but ye have not enough: ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm, and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." (Haggai 1:6)
I pray that powers that want us to sow without reaping or harvest little for our efforts shall die in the name of Jesus. Amen.
A lot of people wish that what their efforts in life are worth should be commensurate with the rewards they get or more. Little do they know as believers that, heavenly operations require earthly cooperation. Beloveth, when a man lives his life on the philosophy of Christ for all, am for myself, then, the adverse effects of it can be great. A lot do not bother about the place of their worship, called the house of God. If there is any need for them to make it conducive for the gospel, how much more are their fellow brethren?
According to our working passage, the Israelites were self-centred and they paid dearly for it until they changed. Therefore, let us change our attitudes towards the house of God. Treat his people positively, to reap bountifully here on earth and in heaven.
GEORGE ABIODUN
To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and meet the resident reverend, pastor or priest.
Prayer:
I receive power to be relevant in the things of God in the name of Jesus.
The power to excel falls upon my life in the name of Jesus.
Oh God arise and give me a bountiful harvest in the name of Jesus.
The power of satanic manipulation assigned against Christian homes dies in the name of Jesus.
Power for holy living falls upon Christian homes in the name of Jesus.
