Today’s Readings:
Psalm 8
Exodus 2:15b -22
Mathew 26:6-13
Nobody is created by accident. In GOD’s plan everybody is important in this earth. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God told Jeremiah that before he was created from the womb, he knew him to be a prophet. Happily, he fulfilled his divine destiny. Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord and he said here I am send me.
Jesus knew his mission on earth, and he told those that care to listen at various points that he was the Messiah. The bible in Acts 10 : 38 confirms this by stating that - How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. We need to discover why we are here on this planet earth so that we will not only achieve it but also gain eternal life. Paul said I have finished the course, I have run the race, henceforth, a crown is waiting for me. It is my prayer that we will not be a signpost in the name of Jesus. There are so many ways in which we can know who we are in the Lord so that we will not be used as a foot mat by the devil. We must first recognize our position in God’s Agenda who has made us a little lower than the Angels and regarded us as small gods. He even made it clear that we are going to judge the Angels.
1 Peter 2 v. 9 also gave us an exposition of who we are in Christ - We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that we should show forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Today ask God fervently through prayers, fasting, praise worship and so on and he will reveal yourself to you in the name of Jesus.
