Today's Reading:
Habakkuk 1:13
Isaiah 59:2
Psalm130:3
"If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” This is a great question, that requires a great answer. Iniquity is inconsistencies in what we have decided not to do again, deviation from what is right, wickedness, gross injustice, a wrongful act, absence of moral or religious values, lawlessness, denial of the sovereignty of God, and so on. If there is anything in life that God hates and cannot behold with His eyes, it is iniquity.
A lot of Christians wallow in iniquities and do not look at where they are going after living on this earth. When a man who was once a drunkard, stops for a while and suddenly starts patronizing beer or drinking bars again, it means such an individual is into iniquity. It is like a dog going back to his vomit. Iniquities will bring the departure of the Holy Spirit in the life of a man, open the way of attack to the enemies, demote, emptie a man of divine benefits and above all can make one lose eternity.
Therefore, let us be consistent in the Lord and pray to maintain our relationship with Him. By so doing we become His ambassadors and the apple of His eyes.
ABIODUN GEORGE
To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest.

The power of sin and iniquity in in my life die in the name of Jesus.
